TAMIKA CUMMINGS

Tamika Cummings is a legal and business advisor, entrepreneur, and social innovation strategist, collaborating with non-profits, global corporations, and entrepreneurs to advance innovative (and many times technological) solutions to pressing social issues.  She is the founder of Innpactology, a social enterprise educating and empowering the next generation of diverse social innovators and General Counsel of ideas42, a non-profit design & consulting firm, using behavioral science to solve complex social issues.

Throughout her career, she has worked to establish policies and practices that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.  Serving as a founding Diversity Committee leader at multiple organizations, she has developed strategic DEI plans, reviewed and revamped organizational policies and programs, facilitated workshops and training sessions, and advised organizational leadership. Her approach this work with a fundamental belief that we are more alike than different and a passion for creating environments that encourage each person to show up as his/her authentic self.

She holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a post-graduate certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania, Center for Social Impact Strategy, based in the school of Social Policy and Practice.
