Feed the Hungry

Feed the Hungry – Atlanta!

Join us on December, 3rd 2016 9 a.m.-11a.m. Come take part in ABAC’s annual Feed the Hungry event in association with Action Ministries.

Action Ministries: 2160 Hills Ave, Suite F, Atlanta, GA 30318 www.actionministries.net
In Georgia, our poverty statistics can be overwhelming. According to U.S. census data, Georgia has the third highest overall poverty rate in the nation, and we rank sixth in the nation for food insecurity. Feed the Hungry offers congregations, schools, companies and civic organizations the ability to make a meaningful impact to relieve hunger in their own communities. For a small donation, our partners obtain boxes of food worth $25-30 – enough to feed a family of four for several days – to distribute to their neighbors in need.

The work they do at the Feed the Hungry program is not possible without people like you, who give generously of their time and financial resources to invest in their own communities. We offer opportunities for both meaningful service and high-impact philanthropy. Every action we take can be important to the greater good. When we work together, our efforts are multiplied to produce extraordinary results.
